Does my friend have Bipolar Disorder?
My good friends Mother was diagnosed with Bipolar and Schizophrenia. Well I started to realize that my friend is having tendencies and symptoms. When she talks to me, her head shakes, and she talks real slow. She also freaks out quick. And when her sister asked her if she wants to get diagnosed and whatnot.. she denys theres anything wrong. We want her to get help, and not end up in a mental hospital like her mother. She moved away from everyone. And get married out of no where. Is her symptoms a sign of Bipolar? Should we just leave her alone? For example: She was walking driving through a parking lot.. and this old couple had their turn signal to park.. and she immediately took their parking spot.. and once she got out of her car.. and they did.. the old couple was like you took our parking spot.. and she flips out! like cursing and all that.. and then goes into the store. and then the next minute she's happy as can be. Also she makes up stories, which she was caught up in.

This is long, but i need a really good, reassuring answer (Bipolar/hypothyroid related)?
Alright, so where to begin. Hmmmm. Let's date back about 2 and a half months ago. My cross country season just ended, I'm a senior, it was my last season & I was as frustrated/sad as they come. So I tried the weed. Idk what happened but I tripped really bad and will never touch that stuff again. Ever since then, I've been the hypochondriac of all hypochondriacs. I can't stop researching why I feel so different & anxious & less fulfilling than I did before I tried pot. I'm a nervous wreck. my biggest fear is becoming bipolar. Which I've been told is irrelevant because people who are developing bipolar don't care about it; they "aren't on yahoo answers researching every day of their life". But it's tearing me apart. If I ever feel a little down, I directly think "hey, this is probably a sign of bipolar" or if I'm feeling good about something I deny it and think" this has to be the manic stage of bipolar". I was diagnosed with hypothyroid condition a couple weeks ago and have been taking synthroid 50 mg since. Will this eventually help me when the medicine kicks in? I don't know what to do anymore. I love to excercise and I do it everyday, if not twice a day. So I'm an extremely healthy individual. I just need some good advice and reassurance, preferably nothing that will scare me ;) Thanks everyone and please answer this question !

I'm in a reoccuring mental worry state?
& it's really annoying. For example, I have a huge fear of Bipolar Disorder, because I witnessed my mom experience it & it ruined everything she once was. For me, I'm an 18 year old male runner (running on scholarship in college next year) & I constantly question my mental state. It's SO annoying. For example, if i'm in a good mood, it's probably the manic stage of bipolar, not simply that I'm just in a good mood. And if i'm feeling blue for some reason, boom, it's gotta be the depressive stage. But in general, I show no signs of mood swings, no signs of bipolar at all. I have been indeed disgnosed with Hypothyroid though and am on Synthroid for about 2 weeks now. Well, some positive input & good thought processes would be much appreciated :) Thanks guys! Have a great new years
